Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte
And Whyte could beat Joshua if they fought again. At the moment, it's all swings and roundabouts, but I agree Parker needs to fight some tougher opponents.

He is only 23 though, and probably the most active heavyweight around at the moment, so that time will come.

You will never know until Parker fights a recognised name, Joshua although fighting middle of the road fighters, our middle of the road fighters are a lot better than new Zealand's. It wouldn't surprise me if Dillian whyte beat Parker, to be fair he would give fury or klitchsko a run for their money... Such an open division

Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte
Funnily enough, I've just met David Tua. Aside from being a very polite, exceptionally humble family man (he was towing his god-daughter round the gym in her walker), he reckons Parker has all the tools.

He also reckons Joshua can improve a lot, but that Parker probably has a little bit more potential. Whether he realises it or not, or indeed whether Joshua does is still up in the air.

Reckons they could face each other a number of times over the next few years and wouldn't like to pick who would come out on top.

"Scum - single belts mean fuck all nowadays and even 20 years back held little"

So you changed your story again, no surprise

I might add he looked impressive against Vidondo and had a great amateur career and is also a southpaw.

I think the fella is the real deal and has great feet and terrific hand speed backed with unbelievable power.

Joshua would struggle against this fella for sure.

With that recommendation he'll be flat on his back by the end of the first round.

Why has no one mentioned the CUBAN??

The real king Kong fights Jennings Saturday don't he?

He looks a fucking handful.

He's a natural athlete Millhouse, but nobody has EVER said he's a good boxer.

I think Joshua will be World champ within 3 years all belts. He has improvements to make of course but has all the necessary qualities. Time will tell of course and he may end up being another Bruno but I expect not.

Trying to master the sweet science not quite on a par with running into other blokes for 80 minutes Jonah

Perhaps he should try his hand at UFC. Full of roided up mongs whose skill sets begin and end at smashing fuck out of each other (no surprise that the Irish happen to be fans)

Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte
Well, him and Joshua are rated as the top young prospects, and Parker is 3 years younger than Joshua.

Joshua has more a bit more power, but Parker is considerably faster.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte
I've watched a bit more than that. You're bigging him up because he's a Kiwi, I get it. Anyway, as I said, looks a decent enough fighter, doesn't look top class to me but as always, we'll see. I hope so, the more top HW's the better.

SBW is as much a boxer as you are.

SBW would still beat Audley Harrison though.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte
OK boys, a variation of opinion that suggests as a work in progress he will improve

We shall see, always a punchers chance but he is no where near ready for a potentially washed up Haye in my view let alone the current top men

Not defaming the lad, merely balanced comments opposing the claims of putting him against the best now camp

I guess you know more than the experts ED.

Based on the one fight you saw 18 months ago.

Joseph Parker

Youve only ever had one decent Heavyweight Jonah and that was Tua (another pacific islander you nicked)

I suppose you`ll throw Sonny Bills name into the mix in a minute ? last time I saw him fight he was buzzed as fuck at the last bell against a morbidly obese Frans Botha whose main concern nowadays is making it to the toilet in time

Re: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte
Let's not forget he is still a relative novice, most boxers come through the amateur ranks having started at a very young age, and whilst because of his size he was successful (although I was there at The Excel when he beat the Italian and he should have lost imo) he only began boxing in 2007, and has still only had 15 pro fights, so he has a long way to go yet. He packs a lot of power and has some movement, but more head movement and a better defence will be worked on now.

As I said earlier the best performance was Eubank.

And I reiterate Manchester will be like Appleby Fair Saturday, avoid like the plague.
